MONÉT KITTRELL JOINS ADC’s TEAM
African Diamond Council (ADC) announced that master photographer Monét KITTRELL as artistic/image director of its North American operations

LUANDA, ANGOLA, August 20, 2010 – The African Diamond Council (ADC), Africa’s official diamond governing body is pleased to announce that master photographer Monét KITTRELL has agreed to terms with the organization as artistic/image director of its North American operations.

In his new undertaking, Monét will be responsible for visually expanding the scope and presence of the ADC’s mission in the United States, the world’s top consuming nation of African gem-quality diamonds.

The ADC makes every effort to candidly update its members as well as accurately inform the general public. Monet’s addition has created a forceful visual platform that impressively compliments our “Insist on the Truth” campaign.

Mr. KITTRELL’s keen comprehension of the global diamond industry shall also provide judicious visual backing for ADC and its African Diamond Producers Association (ADPA) in pursuing the truth and current events taking place within Africa’s diamond industry.

“His gift for forceful image depiction and avant-garde concepts shall be distributed worldwide and shall unquestionably have an impact on North America’s diamond consumers,” according to ADC’s chairman, Dr. André Action Diakité JACKSON.

Furthermore, Monét will be in the company of an extraordinary group of spirited photographers, who are all equipped to play a substantial role in globally conceiving a broad range of distinctive visual-related imagery for each ADC special project.

The Luanda-based organization has served as Africa’s official diamond governing body since January 2000. Its continental branch, the African Diamond Producers Association (ADPA) was established in 2006 to enforce ADC’s legislation through mining ministers in each Member State.
